Law Alumni Weekend 2021

Save the Date: October 1-2, 2021

We have missed you all during this last year and cannot wait to be together again in person this fall. Covid regulations permitted, we hope you will join us for our annual Law Alumni Weekend in October.  It will be a wonderful opportunity to meet our dean, Jane Aiken, and connect with other alumni, former professors and administrators. We’ll have fun, food, friends, football, and much more, but it won’t be the same without you!

We’ll kick off the weekend with the Dean’s Welcome Reception Friday afternoon. New this year we will have a Friday evening party for all Law School alumni at the Law School, with special recognition of reunion classes. Due to the cancellation of Law Alumni Weekend 2020 because of COVID-19, we will be celebrating classes ending in 0, 5, 1, and 6 this year. If you would like to help contact classmates to encourage their attendance, please contact our office at lawalum@wfu.edu.

Saturday morning you can join faculty and staff members for breakfast in Worrell Commons, and Saturday* (game time TBA) we’ll have a tailgate for the WFU vs. Louisville football game, prior to cheering the Deacons to victory. Our tailgate, sponsored annually by the Rose Council, is the most fun with 200+ of our alumni, family and friends! *Note – you will be able to purchase game tickets and tailgate tickets during registration for the weekend’s events. Registration will open in August.

If you need a place to stay, please book hotels now but take note of any rules about cancellations and adjustments should any COVID protocols change our plans. You can view a list of hotels here.

Whether you haven’t stepped foot on campus in 25 years or you were here just last year, we invite you back to visit your old friends, celebrate your Wake Forest Law memories, and cheer on the Deacs as they take on Louisville. Mark your calendars for October 1-2 to come back home for Law Alumni Weekend 2021! And share with your friends and classmates.
