The Law Board of Visitors elected new officers at a recent board meeting. Larry Sitton (’61, JD’64), of Smith Moore LLP in Greensboro, will be the new chairman for a two- year term beginning July 1, 2007. Judy Lambeth (JD ’77), General Counsel of Reynolds American, was elected as vice-chair.
The Law Alumni Council elected Gary Gough (’68, JD ’74) as President. Gary is a partner with Ames & Gough in McLean, VA. Pete Evenson (JD ’77), with Tuggle Duggins & Meschan PA in Greensboro, will be the new President-elect and National Law Fund Chairman.
